The service

Removal and repaint planned together.

Popcorn texture removal affects the room as well as the ceiling. We plan protection and containment, texture removal, cleanup, surface preparation, and repainting according to the ceiling and the requested finish.

The estimate confirms which steps are included for your rooms. Repairs, priming, and repainting are scoped to the ceiling condition and agreed finish; they are not assumed to be identical from one home to another.

Before work begins

Have the ceiling material assessed if you suspect asbestos.

Some older building materials can contain asbestos. If you suspect it may be present, do not scrape, sand, or otherwise disturb the material. Arrange assessment and any needed testing with a qualified asbestos professional before removal work. See the U.S. EPA guidance on protecting your family from asbestos exposure.
